The iconic Palmer Park Weekend is a four day event, jam packed with different events - starting on the Thursday evening and finishing on the Sunday evening.
Thursday was a private event for the students of Reading University, affectionately named 'Punch Up at Palmer Park'.
It was a charity boxing event that the students had been training months for. Their peers were allowed to book a table or a standing area to come and join them, and show support for them for the evening.
Overall, this event hosted 1000 people seated in the top hat which we provided a bar service for, as well as a QR table service.
On Friday, it was 'Summertime Live' - an event put on by the production company 'We Pop'. This attracted a little over 4000 punters, on this day we had a full 60m bar, a smaller VIP bar, an artists bar, and a small Prime Time Larger Taxi. The sun shone all day, and you'll be glad to know 5000 bottles of water were drank!
Saturday rolled around and it was time for 'Stories in the Park' which is an event put on by the production company 'Curate Group'. We had over 5000 punters come for the event. They drank and they partied the night away!
On Sunday, it was time for a nice, relaxed family friendly day. Paw patrol greeted the children, and the kids where encouraged to join in with circus skills, face painting, dancing and - of course - lots of singing at the top of their voices.
Will this event that you organised the bars for be on for 2025?
I had no idea you offered festival planning! Such good info to have!
Looks like so much fun with a big crowd!
This festival looks great.
